Madinet Masr Accelerates Ramadan Volunteering Under “Cultivating Communities” Strategy and Secures Athar Excellence Award for Best Practices in Sustainability & CSR

Madinet Masr (EGX code: MASR.CA), has launched a series of community initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan, building on the continued success of its development strategy, “Cultivating Communities”. In parallel with this community-driven momentum, the company was awarded the Excellence Award for Best Practices in Sustainability & CSR at the second edition of the “Athar” Awards, in recognition of its steadfast commitment to advancing sustainable development across both its social and economic pillars.

As part of its “Cultivating Communities” strategy, focused on addressing essential needs and enhancing quality of life, Madinet Masr collaborated with Al Joud Foundation for the third consecutive year as part of the “Together in Goodness” initiative. The partnership aims to prepare over 36,000 Iftar Meals with two Maedet Al-Rahman; in Taj City & Sarai. This year’s initiative witnessed exceptional engagement, extending beyond institutional and financial support to include active employees volunteering on ground across the company’s flagship projects, Taj City and Sarai. Allocating time before Iftar, employees supported the daily distribution of 1,200 hot meals throughout the holy month, ensuring that support reached those most in need.

Further reinforcing the spirit of giving and social solidarity, Madinet Masr expanded its volunteer efforts and collaborated with the Egyptian Food Bank for the fourth consecutive year. As part of this initiative, a group of employees participated in packing 10,000 Ramadan food boxes, aimed at securing essential food supplies to 50,000 individuals from the local underserved communities during the holy month.

Madinet Masr received the Excellence Award for Best Practices in Sustainability & CSR during the second edition of the Athar Awards, held as part of the Egypt Sustainability and CSR Forum.

These efforts highlight Madinet Masr’s ongoing progress in advancing its corporate vision, fully aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and Egypt Vision 2030, through the implementation of integrated initiatives that merge impactful charitable work with sustained support for the business and innovation ecosystem.
